Thor sucks. I bought a brand new unit.
Took two short trips and found the mold, which was black, green, white, and pink. The wood has expanded and is full of mold. It needs to be destroyed. Mold cannot be fixed, and Thor's *** need to destroy it, but they will not give us a new unit.
I want them to drive that piece of *** with all the mold in it and let them get sick. My husband has stage 4 pancreatic cancer, and there is no way we can use that unit. I'm asking anyone who reads this to buy from a different manufacturer who stands behind their products. This is a piece of *** I have photos to prove it.
Put them out of business. They don't know how to build anything properly, and they don't care.
They just take your money and give you a piece of *** they call a motorhome. Go somewhere else, please.

Serious Quality and Service Issues 2025 Gemini Thor
I purchased a 2025 Thor Gemini that has had non-stop issues since day one: backwards water heater, wrong coolant, misinstalled electronics, and now mismatched batteries that dont work with the solar setup. I bought it with two 200 amp-hour batteries, but Thor is trying to downgrade me to 100s.
Its been 5 months and I still dont know if replacements are coming. Their rep, Jeremy, no longer replies to emails and hasnt even updated my dealer.
Ive got a major off-grid trip coming up, and I still dont have a working system. Meanwhile, Lamesa RV has been great especially Mario but theyre left hanging too.
Im now in a legal dispute with Thor.
I would not recommend this manufacturer to anyone. If youre considering a Thor motorhome, know that when things go wrong, youre likely on your own.

- Brand new Thor, bought in March, spent weeks in the shop.
- Poor workmanship; defects include chipped paint, torn decals, doors and drawers fail.
Absolute junk, the worst mistake I ever made was buying a Thor! Brand new and nothing but issues, purchased in March and I have had it less than 3 weeks; the rest of the time it has been in the shop! Poor workmanship, sloppy work putting it together, and Thor could not care less. Their mantra is, 'Well, we will fix it.' What about compensation for all the stress, issues, problems, and that it looks used? They stated, 'Your compensation is that we are fixing it!'

Lemon
- Water heater installed backwards; electrical system incorrect.
- Two 200 Ah batteries were the wrong brand; 100 Ah replacements proposed.
I have now had my RV for five months. It is still not working.
It is a 2025 Gemini trip. The water heater was put together backwards. The electrical system was not installed right the solar panels pretty much everything. I bought this with 200 amp power batteries, two of them they put in the wrong brand theyre not communicating.
So they ordered new batteries and they ordered 100 amp power batteries Mario at the service department. instructed Jeremey that works for Thor not to do that that I am watching them and I am not downgrading my batteries. Jeremey says to me just go in there and lets put those 100 amp hour batteries in there to see if it works. I said, but I have two 200 amp power.
He said we can install more. Lets just make sure it works. I said no I would rather wait to get the correct batteries in there. Let me know when theyre gonna arrive.
he said now I will have to talk to your attorney. I cant just upgrade the batteries. I said this is not upgrading the batteries. This is how I bought this coach And yesterday he was saying oh lets put these lower grade batteries in and we can add more that would be a lot more work so it didnt sit well with me.
Yep he was straight up lion just trying to get these lower grade batteries in and was gonna wash hat his hands at me. I had no intent until this moment to turn this motorhome in as a Lemon, but to think I would have to work with this type of a company in the future if anything went wrong its already officially a Lemon and thanks to his lies, it would be very hard to convince me to keep this thing in my possession, knowing I would have to work with liars and manipulators in the future do not buy Thor.
Poor quality

I own a 2021 Z28, 16000 miles Beworiginal owner. Over the past 3 and a half years our coach has been nothing but 1 repair after another.
Wall panels in the bedroom have been replaced 2 times due to coming loose, had to fix again today. Wall paper/contact paper still peeling. Reclining chairs keep coming loose and don't stay up. Floor linoleum had to be replaced due to bubbles and a large bolt came up thru the floor.
MOST OF THIS STARTING WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR OF OWNERSHIP. Sorry but I came to a point that it is not worth the effort anymore.

- No AC, no heat, no water; generator failed; denied work when stranded.
Since 2001 in April I purchased a Ace and it's been in the shop for 6 weeks a month after purchase and every time I put it in after that there was nothing that they could do to help me please put in products that was not asked of them to do like a new windshield which they claim when I bought the product that they will owe me a new one but that would be up to me but since they couldn't help me they just decided to go ahead and put the windshield that didn't need replacing at all but that was on my prerogative to do so. They denied me any kind of work because I was stranded out on 12 acres and could not move the vehicle when I had an extended warranty they claimed I didn't have one at all and that I had to go and buy two more after that within the same year and now I'm trying to get the same work that was needed 3 years ago done again I've had no air conditioning for the past 3 years no heater in the winter no running water and my generator had stopped running to the point where last year and this year I had that higher a mobile mechanic to come out and to at least get it started again and I'm out $700 there which is nothing comparisons to the $100,000 and saved gasoline receipts and oil receipts due to the fact that I was stranded nobody at camping world or anywhere around would come and help me even though my wife needed to have air flow through the vents like air conditioning which didn't work like I said she has COPD and asthma she's 75 years old it is taking a toll on all of us I want my money back and I plan on taking them to court over this I don't give a...
On how long it takes they need to be put out of business. And the way they come across if I'm not happy they're not happy what crap is that!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Didn’t give up. Continued to push back stating the facts.
We had fuel system problems from the very beginning. We had the vehicle diagnosed large leak in fuel system.
We have documentation and timeline to support the system failure , we had a safety recall to address the Ford boost assist failure. We asked Ford to see if they could diagnose the problem, they stated this a common problem. Aftermarket connection ripped fuel hose due to being too short. We asked the manufacturer Thor Motor Coach to reimburse us for the repairs.
Response denied.

Thor Motorhomes are junk.
- Generator never ran and the fridge fell out while driving.
- Warranty unresponsive; Thor ignored calls; don't buy a Thor product; cost me $90k.
Bought a 2023 Thor Challenger in May, 2023. Generator never would run, refrigerator fell out of its compartment running down the road, headlights had a short and wouldn't stay on at dark, one of the rooms would never extend or retract as needed.
Camping World was worthless for warranty work as they don't answer the phone or return calls. Gave up and took it to a local dealer for help. 18 months and 4k out of pocket repair bills still couldn't get all the problems resolved. Thor ignored calls as well.
Ended up selling it to a wholesale buyer.
Cost me 90k to get rid of the piece of junk. DON'T BUY A THOR PRODUCT.

- Ford issued a safety recall and repair required a 3-hour trip.
- Thor Motor Coach denied reimbursement due to timing.
We provided documentation to support our problem from the very beginning. We were not sure what was causing the problem.
We received a safety recall from Ford. We had to travel for 3 hours to have the safety recall repaired. We asked Ford to see if they could figure out the fuel system problem. They were able to troubleshoot and repair - an aftermarket fill connection ripped *** in the fill line.
The hose was too short.
We requested reimbursement, but Thor Motor Coach gave us the middle finger. Too bad for you, you didn't file a complaint within the allowed timeframe.

- Bought a 2022 Thor Class A in 2021; 4 visits.
- Windshield upside down; crack at skirting; fridge failed; paint faded; wiper not covered.
We purchased a 2022 Thor Class A in 2021. We thought we were getting a great deal on a second home.
However, we have had to take it back to service four times already. Number one: the windshield was installed upside down. Number two: there was a crack around the skirting on the inside. Number three: the refrigerator went out.
Number four: it faded really badly, and when they buffed it out because they said that Thor would not cover a paint job, the buffing job was terrible. Camping World of Greenville has not helped us with these issues. Now, it needs a windshield wiper that they say we have to pay for because it's not covered under the warranty.
Why did we pay for an extended warranty? I don't understand it.

33 Canopy driver side improper installation. Out of line with the track on the roof.
Canvas on the roof out of line by almost a foot. Leaving the back part of the canvas flapping in the wind, causing damage to the canvas. Now canvas needs to be replaced also when they mounted it on. The RV, they drill holes only to discover they were putting it in the wrong spot.

Camping World dealerships for Thor will not document any repairs needed untell the Rv is left there and if they're not able to take it in they will not give you paperwork documenting the defects
