New ReviewerFinally received approval from Thor to repair the cap paint issue and gel coat cracks on driver side A-pillar. My unit is going in for repair October 2, 2019.
I hope this is the last of the major quality issues.
For all the subscribers of this post, Iโve performed numerous small repairs on my own. Iโll never purchase another Thor product and given that this industry as a whole doesnโt practice quality control or craftsmanship this may be my last Motorhome purchase.
I sent Thor images and waited for a response. The warranty specialist I was working with never responded back despite my numerous attempts to contact him.
I then contacted another Thor representative and he asked I get a repair estimate.
I finally was able to get an appointment for an estimate at General RV and they said they submitted an estimate to Thor. Iโm waiting on a response.
I found paint defects (cracks, discoloring) on my roof cab cap after winter wash. My coach spends winters covered.
I contacted Thor and their response after 2 weeks was to reject my claim. I recontacted the customer service agent again and he requested I send images.
I sent the images a month ago and Iโve heard nothing back. Iโve tried contacting the agent twice and no response.
Reason of review: Bad quality.
Monetary Loss: $5000.
Preferred solution: Repair .
Thor Motor Coach Pros: Design of coach fits my needs, Size, Easy to drive.
Thor Motor Coach Cons: Poor quality, Construction shoddy, Customer service.
